Metaphor: ReFantazio Is Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Metaphor: ReFantazio is the latest JRPG from Atlus, and it’s a very beefy game. So what better game to put on Xbox Game Pass than this massive, 100-hour RPG?

The company has just announced its next lineup of games slated to hit Game Pass in the next few weeks. Metaphor: ReFantazio is on that list, and it’ll be available on Game Pass from May 29. Folks who are subscribed to the service on PC or Xbox will be able to download it on either platform.

Metaphor: ReFantazio carries over a lot of design inspirations from Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, but it ends up being a wholly unique thing on its own as well. The game features a medieval fantasy setting where the unnamed protagonist and his band of friends must compete against other candidates in a popularity contest for the throne. Basically, democracy. This comes off the back of the assassination of the late king, who decreed that if he passes, the next ruler would be determined by the people.

Aside from Metaphor: ReFantazio, several other games have been added to the Game Pass lineup, as detailed below:
