Assassin’s Creed Shadows was released about a month ago to positive critical acclaim. While it is a single-player title, Ubisoft has committed to supporting the game with new content for the next year. The company released a general roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, going over all of the content players can expect to see over the next few months.

- Codex updates
- Animus content
- New rewards
There will also be optional paid content, including new store drops and the Claws of Awaji expansion. The available is free for folks who pre-ordered the game, and it can also be bought as a separate purchase.

The Claws of Awaji expansion takes place on the island of Awaji, featuring a whole new region for players to explore. Story-wise, it picks up right where Assassin’s Creed Shadows left off at the end. You’ll be able to continue playing as Naoe and Yasuke as you encounter new enemies, and discover new abilities and weapons.
The regular story drops are basically new free quests that include player abilities, allies, world activities, and backstories for existing characters. Along with that, there are plenty of other features and updates to look forward to. Community feedback updates, as the name suggests, will focus on player complaints and suggestions. These updates have included auto-follow while on horseback, mastery nodes reset, and more.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available on PC and consoles.
