I may not have been the biggest fan of its third season, but I certainly won’t let that stop me from getting stupidly excited about casting reveals for The White Lotus Season 4. It was recently confirmed that the fourth season in Mike White’s anthology series will be set in France, and the initial casting reveals included names like AJ Michalka and Alexander Ludvig.
Three more casting announcements have been made, and this is a big one. The White Lotus Season 4 will star Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, and Marissa Long.
Helena Bonham Carter surely needs no introduction as the English actress has been in a ton of things, most notably in the Harry Potter movies as Bellatrix Lestrange. Admittedly she’s been typecast a bit, as she typically plays quirky characters with a bit of an insane streak. See: Marla Singer in Fight Club, Emily in Corpse Bride, Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland… The list goes on. One of her more recent ‘normie’ roles was as Eudoria Holmes in Netflix’s Enola Holmes, but even in that movie she was pretty deranged.
Chris Messina is best known for his roles in Sharp Objects, Birds of Prey and Argo, while Marissa Long will be making her television debut with The White Lotus Season 4.
At the time of writing, here’s the confirmed cast list so far:
- Helena Bonham Carter
- AJ Michalka
- Chris Messina
- Alexander Ludvig
- Marissa Long
- Steve Coogan
- Caleb Jonte Edwards
