As far as the anime world is concerned, Jujutsu Kaisen is almost certainly the new hotness and will likely continue to be so for the next few years at the very least. After a strong Season 1 debut and an even more impressive showing in Season 2, the story will continue in January 2026 with the start of the Culling Game arc.
Crunchyroll has dropped a new trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, which you can check out for yourself down below:
The Culling Game arc picks up directly where we last left off with the conclusion of the Shibuya Incident arc. The massively overpowered Gojo Satoru has been imprisoned in a tiny cube, the sorcerers have sustained huge losses including the deaths of fan-favorite Kento Nanami and Nobara Kugisaki, and we also got a lot more information regarding Suguru Geto’s true nature, including the fact that he’s not actually Geto at all. Instead, he’s some baddie named Kenjaku who has the ability to literally implant his brain into the bodies of other people and control them that way, which is exactly what he’s done with Geto.
Season 3 will kick off with Yuta Okkotsu entering the fray, seemingly on a mission to kill protagonist Yuji Itadori after the sorcerers call for his execution. It’s worth noting that Yuta is the only other S-grade sorcerer, joining the ranks of Geto, Gojo, and Yuki Tsukumo, who also made an appearance in Season 2.
Season 3 will also see the return of the original Japanese voice cast, including the following:
- Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori
- Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro
- Daisuke Namikawa as Choso
- Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will likely release in two parts, with the first dropping in January 2026. After that, we’ll likely have a break for a few months before the show resumes later in the year, possibly for the Fall anime season.
Jujutsu Kaisen is now available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
