The Boys may be coming to an end soon, and we don’t know if we’re going to get more Gen V beyond its second season this year. There’s no need to worry though, as Prime has already ordered up a prequel series titled Vought Rising. The show will be set during the WW2 era and see the return of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, who served as one of the antagonists of Season 3.
We don’t know when Vought Rising will premiere, but showrunner Eric Kripke has taken to Twitter to share new images of the Supe costumes we’ll get to see in the show. You can check them out for yourself down below:
Will Hochman as Torpedo

Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy

Mason Dye as Bombsight

Elizabeth Posey as Private Angel

While details on the show are scant, we do know that the story will revolve around the early days of Vought International. The look and feel of the Supe outfits are also markedly different from what we’re used to on The Boys, evoking a more retro, colorful feel. We got a little taste of that era in The Boys Season 3, but it’ll be interesting to see how Vought Rising is able to expand on that. Aside from the Supes shown today, Stormfront (played by Aya Cash) will also be making a return.
Stormfront was revealed to be a Nazi supporter when she showed up as the main antagonist of The Boys Season 2, but went by Liberty before that. Considering the time period of the show, it’s likely that we’ll see her in her Liberty getup instead.
The Boys is now available for streaming on Prime. Vought Rising does not have a release date yet.
