Elden Ring Nightreign Overview Trailer Shows Off Bosses, Classes, & More

We’re less than a month away from the release of Elden Ring Nightreign, and Bandai Namco is slowly ramping up hype by divulging more juicy details. We’ve just gotten a 10-minute overview trailer going over all of the fun features players can look forward to in Nightreign, and it’s looking glorious.

You can check out the trailer for yourself down below:

The trailer goes over the setting, classes, the potential in build variety, and the bosses. Elden Ring Nightreign is set in Limveld, and players will have three days to level up and find tools to help them fight the Nightlord at the end of the run. This is a co-op multiplayer game where players can either travel together, or divide and conquer. As you’re exploring Limveld, you may find different Relics and resources that can help make the fight against the Nightlord easier.

What’s exciting about Limveld is that the layout of the world changes with every run. Not only that, there are unexpected world events like lava areas and forests to keep things fresh.

Players will also be able to choose between eight different Nightfarers (read: classes) that all have their own strengths and weaknesses. For instance, the Recluse is a mage-type class that can support the party by branding an enemy. Players who attack a branded enemy can then recover a bit of health and magic.

We also got a glimpse of the Roundtable Hold. There will be a Jar merchant you can purchase items from, and a mirror that lets you change your character appearance. As shown off in the reveal trailer, you can get cosmetics that call back to NPCs from other FromSoft games, including Solaire from Dark Souls and the Curse Bearer from Dark Souls II.

Finally, folks who pre-order Elden Ring Nightreign will get an exclusive gesture called “It’s Raining!”

Elden Ring Nightreign is set to be released for PC and consoles on May 30.
