Just mastering a Nightfarer’s play style in Elden Ring Nightreign isn’t quite enough. You still need to kit them out with the right Relics if you want to knock out your Expeditions effectively. Here’s everything you need to know about Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign, including a full list of all Relics, how to get them, and how to equip them.
All Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign
From my time with Elden Ring Nightreign so far, I’ve discovered 29 unique Relics. These are largely obtained through quest completion, such as the Duchess’ Remembrance quest. They’re typically more powerful than the random Relics you get just from farming Expeditions.
This isn’t to say that the non-unique Relics aren’t good. They can provide powerful stat bonuses and affixes that could potentially make or break a run. That being said, you’ll absolutely need one or two unique Relics to properly complete a build.

Non-Unique Relics
At the end of an Expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll be rewarded with non-unique Relics whether you fail or succeed. These Relics are colored green, blue, yellow, and red, and they come in three variants: Delicate, Polished, and Grand. Here are the differences:
Relic Type | Effect |
---|---|
Delicate | 1 random Relic effect |
Polished | 2 random Relic effects |
Grand | 3 random Relic effects |
Ideally you’ll want to grab as many Grand Relics as possible, since they come with three random rolls. Of course, not all Grand Relics are guaranteed to be useful, since the relevance of a stat will depend on which Nightfarer you’re playing as.
In addition to that, it’s also worth noting that you can buy non-unique Relics with Murk at the Small Jar Bazaar. These Relics come with fixed stats, so if you see one that you like, grab it. It can also be a good idea to just buy these Relics with Murk as a placeholder while you wait for something better to come along.
Nightfarer Chalices
Next up, one important thing to note is that each Nightfarer starts with a default Chalice that lets them equip three Relics. Unique Relics aren’t an issue, but if you’ve only got non-Uniques, do keep in mind that you can only equip a certain number of a colored Relic on each one. Here’s the spread:
Nightfarer | Starting Chalice | Relic Colors |
---|---|---|
Wylder | Wylder’s Urn | Red x2 Blue |
Guardian | Guardian’s Urn | Red Yellow x2 |
Duchess | Duchess’ Urn | Red Blue x2 |
Recluse | Recluse’s Urn | Blue x2 Green |
Ironeye | Ironeye’s Urn | Yellow Green x2 |
Raider | Raider’s Urn | Red Green x2 |
Executor | Executor’s Urn | Red Yellow x2 |
Revenant | Revenant’s Urn | Blue x2 Yellow |
How to Equip Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign

After you’ve gathered a few Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll probably need to start switching things around. Go to the Roundtable Hold and interact with the small table in the room, just opposite of the character table.
From here, you’ll be able to tab through all the Nightfarers, look at their available slots, and also pick from your pool of collected Relics. Make sure to sort this out before embarking on an Expedition.
