Everything Announced at the February 2026 State of Play Presentation

PlayStation hosted its first State of Play presentation of the year, and it was a packed show with tons of trailers and announcements. If you’d like to skip watching the one-hour long presentation, here are the highlights.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora

A follow-up to Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Kena: Scars of Kosmora kicked off the State of Play presentation with a bang. We got an extensive look at the game, which features truly striking graphics and fun action combat.

Ghost of Yotei: Legends

Ghost of Yotei: Legends is a free DLC coming to Sucker Punch’s samurai game. It’s a four-player co-op affair where you can team up with friends to fight villainous legends.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PC

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be coming to PC. It features an unlocked framerate, ultrawide support, and more. I thoroughly enjoyed it on PS5, but I can only imagine how much prettier it’ll look on PC.

4:Loop

I totally forgot this was a thing, but 4:Loop showed up at State of Play today with a new trailer showing even more gameplay and run permutations.

Pragmata

Capcom showed up to the presentation with a new trailer for Pragmata, and a reminder that a demo is available on PS5 now.

Resident Evil Requiem

We also got another trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, showing off even more story details. Leon is, unfortunately, infected with some sort of virus yet again, and the trailer also teased the return of Sherry Birkin, who we last saw in Resident Evil 6 and was saved as a child by Claire in Resident Evil 2.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is getting a proper remaster and a re-release later this year.

Brigandine Abyss

Brigandine Abyss is the latest entry in a long-running RPG series, featuring plenty of unit types and characters.

Dead or Alive 6: Last Round

Koei Tecmo also made an appearance to show off Dead or Alive 6: Last Round. It looks fine, I guess? It’s more footage of Kasumi looking hot while fighting people.

Dead or Alive New Project

The company also announced that they’re working on a new project in the Dead or Alive series.

Control Resonant

Remedy showed off a new trailer for Control Resonant, giving us a better look at the environments and enemies.

Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon is a new action RPG with optional co-op elements, tasking you with fighting angelic hordes.

Beast of Reincarnation

This is a pretty exciting one. Beast of Reincarnation is a new game from Game Freak, where you’ll explore a world with a trusty wolf companion and fight enemies.

Neva: Prologue

Neva: Prologue serves as a prequel to Neva, where you had to journey through different seasons with a wolf companion.

Yakoh Shinobi Ops

I was honestly getting pretty bored with all the ninja/samurai games, but this looked pretty cool. Yakoh Shinobi Ops is a ninja game, yes, but it’s also a tactical stealth game.

Project Windless

Finally, some chicken representation. This is an open-world action game where you take control of a badass-looking rooster wielding swords.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer

I don’t particularly like Star Wars or racing games, but even I have to admit Star Wars: Galactic Racer continues to look very pretty.

007 First Light

Okay okay, I’m already sold. You don’t have to keep selling me on how good this game looks. We got another trailer for 007 First Light, showing off even more story details.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2

After giving us the runaround by saying that remastering MGS4 would be too difficult, Konami went ahead and announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which would include MGS4 and Peacewalker.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

This might be my most hyped announcement of the show, which is wild considering I’ve never been a Castlevania fan. You know what I am, though? A Dead Cells fan. And Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a new Castlevania game made in collaboration with Evil Empire (The Rogue Prince of Persia) and Motion Twin (Dead Cells). Yeah, sign me up.

Silent Hill: Townfall

Honestly, after the impact of Silent Hill f, I’m not sure Konami will be able to follow up with another Silent Hill game that hits me just as hard. Still, I’m willing to give them a shot. Silent Hill: Townfall follows a new protagonist in a new town, with familiar foggy creepy enemies.

Rev. Noir

Konami is entering their JRPG era once again, as the company showed off Rev. Noir, a new Xenoblade-looking JRPG with anime aesthetics and a classic party setup.

John Wick

Oh, and we’re also getting a John Wick game with Keanu Reeves’ likeness. Sweet.

Marathon

Marathon will be getting a server slam open preview the weekend ahead of its March launch. I’m excited for this one, just by virtue of getting to play another shooter game with that crunchy Bungie goodness.

Saros

Saros is the upcoming game from Housemarque, and we got to see more gameplay elements. And, of course, that familiar bullet hellish gameplay that Housemarque has become known for.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

Okay, I don’t particularly care for fighting games either, but I gotta say Marvel Tokon looks incredible. The new trailer showed off some story elements, as well as key X-Men characters like Storm, Magik, and Wolverwine.

God of War Trilogy Remake

I really couldn’t care less for God of War, but I understand it has massive mainstream appeal. The original Greek trilogy is getting remade. Woohoo.

God of War: Sons of Sparta

And in a surprise twist of events, Sony Santa Monica shadow-dropped God of War: Sons of Sparta today, a Metroidvania-style God of War game featuring Kratos as a normie human being.

And those are all of the announcements from PlayStation’s February 2026 State of Play presentation.

Zhiqing Wan
Zhiqing began her video game journey in 1996, when her dad introduced her to Metal Gear, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill — and the rest, as they say, is history. She was an editor at The Escapist, Destructoid, and Twinfinite before starting up Retcon.
