It’s crazy to think that it’s already been a whole year since the release of Dispatch. That was one of the surprise releases for me at the tail-end of 2025, and it even made my Game of the Year list. Second runner-up ain’t bad, right?
Anyway, to celebrate Dispatch‘s one-year anniversary, AdHoc Studio is doing a whole bunch of things for the game. This includes updating the game with new modes (free for Deluxe Edition owners), releasing new merch on their official store, and announcing a physical release, a mobile release, and even a concert. That’s a lot of Dispatch. You can check out the announcement trailer down below:
Okay so the new modes are the highlight here, obviously. Deluxe Edition owners get these modes for free, though if you have the Standard Edition, you can upgrade for $10.99. You’ll get new cast and crew commentary via Commentary Mode, which features Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Erin Yvette, while Storyboard Mode lets you play through the entire game through the original storyboard animatics. The latter is a little less interesting to me, but I can imagine Commentary Mode being a ton of fun.
Next up, Dispatch is also coming to mobile devices on December 9. My birthday! Oh gee, thank you AdHoc! How’d you know?! First, Koei Tecmo surprises me with Attack on Titan 3, and now AdHoc is letting me play Dispatch on my phone? Best birthday ever. The first four episodes will be free (which is pretty damn generous), with the full mobile release priced at $19.99. Super reasonable.
The game is also going to get a physical release this holiday season, though I don’t think we have a set release date for that just yet.
Finally, AdHoc also announced Dispatch: Night Shift, a concert experience in LA featuring the original soundtrack with composer Andrew Arcadi and the SDN Band. The concert is happening on December 3, and tickets will be very limited. AdHoc Studio email subscribers will be notified first. The AdHoc store will also feature new merch items for purchase, and I believe some of the original items are also back in stock.
All in all, it’s a pretty stacked celebration for Dispatch, and you know what? It deserves nothing less. Still waiting on that second season, though.
Dispatch is now available on PC and consoles.
