Silent Hill f gives you plenty of weapons and equipment to work with, including charm-like items called Omamoris, which can help to make life a lot easier. Here’s a complete Silent Hill f Omamori guide going over how to get all of them, their effects, and the best ones to equip.
Silent Hill f Omamoris Explained

An Omamori is sort of like a charm that you can equip in Silent Hill f to give Hinako bonus perks. For instance, equipping the Pine Omamori will increase her maximum Health, making her harder to kill.
A lot of Omamoris can be obtained by drawing them from the hokora with Faith, but there are some unique ones that can only be gotten by finding them in the world. Once you get into new game plus territory, that’s where you’ll start finding the strongest Omamoris scattered around Ebisugaoka.

Drawing Omamoris
Omamoris can be drawn at random at a hokora. Interact with the hokora and select the Draw option, then spend Faith to get a random one. The cost of drawing an Omamori will increase by 100 Faith each time you draw one, and it’s always random. I recommend saving your Faith for Hinako’s permanent ema upgrades once you’ve gotten a few Omamoris under your belt, as the best ones can’t be drawn from the hokora.
How to Get Faith Fast
You can get Faith very quickly in Silent Hill f by making offerings at the hokora. Specifically, you want to offer up Dried, Shriveled, or Antique items. These will yield hundreds of Faith a pop, and they can’t be used as restoration items so you might as well offer them up when you can.
Faith can also be obtained by offering other items like Arare or the Inari Sushi, and it can be worth giving these up if you already have plenty of Bandages or First Aid Kits on hand, but your mileage may vary. Prioritize offering the other items first, then give these up if you’re well-stocked on healing items.
How Many Omamoris Can You Equip?
During your first playthrough, you can only equip up to three Omamoris. To reach that limit, you need to unlock the Omamori upgrade at the hokora, which requires Faith and an ema.
Once you reach new game plus, you can equip up to four Omamoris, though you need to offer up Faith and an ema for that final upgrade. As you unlock more endings, you’ll be able to get upgrades for an additional Omamori slot.
Best Omamoris in Silent Hill f
With so many Omamoris to choose from in Silent Hill f, it can be difficult to decide on which ones to equip. Here’s my recommendation:
- Sakura: Enhances the effects of Health restoring items and Omamoris.
- Suzuran: Perfect Dodges become easier to perform.
- Spider: Greatly decreases weapon durability consumption from performing Light Attacks.
- Wolf: Deals additional damage when using weapons with high durability. Effective only for weapons with durability.
- Otter: Restores spare weapons’ durability upon defeating an enemy.
Sakura is far and away the best Omamori you can get in Silent Hill f. I never took this off once I got it. With it equipped, even your weakest healing items can basically heal up Hinako’s entire Health bar. It got to the point where I no longer needed First Aid Kits and even saw them as a detriment because they take up so much inventory space. Not only that, Sakura also enhances the effects of your equipped Omamoris, which can be seriously devastating when you equip the right ones.
First, Suzuran makes it easier for you to pull off a Perfect Dodge. I’m a fan of this one because Perfect Dodges restore your Stamina, allowing you to continue spamming attacks.
Next, I’m also a big fan of pairing the Spider and Wolf Omamoris. Weapon durability can be a real pain in Silent Hill f, and the Spider Omamori alleviates this issue. By relying on Light Attacks, you can get a lot of mileage out of your weapons. When paired with Wolf, you deal massive damage with just Light Attacks, and I was able to take out regular enemies with just four hits. You do need to be somewhat stocked with Toolkits or backup weapons, but generally, this combo is very powerful.
Last but not least is the Otter. If you pair this with the Spider, you’ll basically never need Toolkits. This setup allows you to fill your weapon slots with Kitchen Knives, swap between them, and never run out of durability because the Otter will keep them in good shape. I love pairing this with Wolf for increased damage as well, and of course, the Sakura Omamori enhances all of their effects.
With the Sakura Omamori enhancing all of your Omamori effects, this setup turned my Hinako into an unstoppable killing machine.
