Does Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Akaza’s Return) Have a Post-Credits Scene?

Ever since the MCU kicked off this trend with the original Iron Man movie, post-credits scenes have basically become ubiquitous in cinema culture. Virtually every big movie you go see these days, there’s that inherent pressure of needing to stay till the end to see if there’s anything else waiting for you. I personally hate it, but hey, what can you do? So if you’re watching Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Akaza’s Return) in theaters and you’re wondering if there’s a post-credits scene in this one, here’s what you need to know.

Is There a Post-Credits Scene in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Akaza’s Return)?

No. There is no post-credits scene in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Akaza’s Return). Once the credits start rolling, you can safely leave the theater without worrying that you might miss a teaser for the next installment in the trilogy. That said, the credits sequence isn’t all that long as they start rolling during the final scenes of the movie and only last for the length of the end credits song. Plus, you get to see some cool artwork as they roll, so I’d recommend staying for those anyway if you’ve got the time.

The Demon Slayer anime series is known for its cute post-credits scenes. Typically, at the end of each episode, Tanjiro and Nezuko would show up for a minute and provide viewers with tidbits or little-known facts about the characters featured that episode, or about the Demon Slayer universe in general. These don’t have any bearing on the main story, but they’re often fun to watch and they only last about a minute or so.

The Infinity Castle movie doesn’t follow that trend, though, and instead chooses to leave things off on a bit of a cliffhanger, allowing its audience to digest everything that they’ve just watched.

So yeah. Hopefully that clears up any questions you may have about a potential post-credits scene in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle (Akaza’s Return). Leave the theater with a mind at peace!
