RACCOIN Finally Has a Release Date & A New Demo

RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike was one of my big indie surprises of 2025. A literal coin pushing machine blended with roguelike mechanics and cute animal coins? I mean, who even comes up with a concept like that? Anyway, I only got a taste of the game through the playtest last year, which I was thoroughly impressed by, so you can imagine how excited I am to hear that it finally has a release date. And it’s really soon.

First, here’s a new trailer:

RACCOIN will be releasing on March 31. Only on Steam for now, though I imagine it’d be a pretty damn sweet Switch game down the line. There’s also a new demo available on Steam now, which comes with “many tweaks and improvements, including a cleaner UI, cuter item art, and major improvements to game balance and performance behind the scenes”.

In addition to that, the demo also features a new playable character, The Chemist. You’ll also be able to play around with Coin Modifiers, which add extra abilities to existing coins. The idea is to open the game up to more strategic thinking and planning as you decide which special coins to load into your arsenal. And this should hopefully lead to even more chaos as well, of course.

The full game itself will come with the following:

  • 6 playable characters, each with their own unique coins
  • 150 distinct coins with special effects
  • 150 power up items with unique abilities
  • Endless Run Mode for infinite replayability
  • 8 difficulty levels to master

I got to chat with Doraccoon — the team behind RACCOIN — late last year, where I asked about the origins of the development team, their inspirations and collaboration with publisher Playstack, favorite coins, and more.

RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike is set to be released for PC on March 31.
